Situated in the heart of mineral rich Jharkhand state at Industrial Area ,Bokaro . Jharkhand is mineral rich state in India where all the leading steel giants from across the Globe including : Mittals, Jindal , SAIL ,Essar etc. are setting up their unit. SAIL already have a unit at Bokaro having capacity of 3.5 million tons to be increased to 10 million tons by 2010.Bokaro Industrial Area is situated on Dhanbad - Ranchi National Highway around 50 k.m. from Dhanbad. Dhanbad is around 250 k.m. from KOLKATA.
AJOY CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES was set in the year 1974 starting with manufacturing of Sodium Silicate is used for various applications. During 1980 the unit started concentrating to manufacture various products used in Steel making and subsequently as per requirement and need additional products for foundries were added including Hot Top Inserts for 20 Ton to 28 Ton Ingot Moulds used in manufacture of steel Ingots.

The unit maintained its tempo of growth from time to time . As the steel making process changed around the globe various products for Converters and Continuous Casting Shops were added to the product line. Having sufficient experience over the years the unit started trading of different products used in steel making and re-sale of steel products including steel Ingots and Billets along with the existing activities.
